NORTH SHORE BLISS / Mike + Fatima

Mike + Fatima were wed on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu. Throughout the entire day, they made sure to carve out plenty of time for us to capture those special moments at incredible locations.

The couple decided to do a 'first look' at beautiful Kawela Bay.

The ceremony and reception were held on the beautiful grounds of Waimea Valley.

Before the majority of the reception got under way, we snuck away one more time to a secret location.

More than a Wedding Film

Having a wedding film is a good thing, but having a wedding film that shares a powerful story is a great thing. In this video, take a journey on the love story of Sean and Theresa Brown. I always love when couples have video and/or photos of the events leading up to the wedding day. That allows a much deeper and powerful story to be shared. I know when Sean and Theresa grow old together, they will not only have this wedding film to remember their beautiful wedding day, but to also reminisce on their journey leading up to May 15, 2015.

Further, it is always such an honor when a couple trusts our work and vision so much as to fly myself and a second cinematographer 2,000 miles to capture their wedding. As an artist, it truly is the greatest compliment because there is so much dedication and intentionality that goes into each video we create and each photo we take. When somebody notices that and trusts us to be a part of their story, it truly is an honor.

Faroe Islands + Iceland

The Faroe Islands // when I would tell people that I was going to the Faroe Islands, they would pause and nod their head and then say........"Oh, where is that?". To which I would reply, "Halfway between Iceland and Scotland"....to which I would in return get a face like they just stuck their hand in a bucket of ice water (isn't that supposed to make you pee?.....anyway). They would ask me why I was going there, and I would try my best to describe its untouched beauty but really all the words in the world could not describe the beauty that is there. Not even photographs can come close to capturing it........as hard as I tried, I felt as if my photographs did not even come close to capturing this amazing land. The land is so untouched and raw and spectacular..........it's completely indescribable............
